LAS VEGAS — A Nevada coal miner died after a CO2 leaking underground.
State officials confirmed Monday the death, but no cause of death was given.
The miner was a miner in a coal mine owned by Western Energy Partners.
He was a certified coal heater and was employed by Western.
His body was found at the mine in the town of Las Vegas.
WESTERN Energy Partners confirmed the death and said the company is cooperating with authorities.
The company said it has been cooperating with the authorities and has offered its full cooperation.
